2 T. butter
1/2 c. sugar
3 T. flour
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground clove
1/2 tsp ground all-spice
1 large egg
2 T. vinegar
1 c. water
1 pastry shell, baked 2-3 mins.

Preheat oven to 350.
Cream butter and sugar. Measure and sift flour, cinnamon, cloves and all-spice. Add to creamed mixture. Add egg, vinegar and water. Cook in top of double boiler until thick. Pour into pastry shell, bake until done.
