4 c. Flour
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1 3/4 c. Sugar
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 c. Shortening
1 c. Sour Cream
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
Extra Sugar for sprinkling

Directions:
Directions:
Cream Shortening with Sugar until mixed well. Add Salt, Vanilla Extract, and unbeaten Eggs, beat well. Mix together remaining dry ingredients. Add Sour Cream to Sugar mixture alternating with dry ingredients. Chill dough for 1 hour or more. Roll out dough on floured surface. Cut into cookies using floured cutters. Place cut out cookies on baking sheets. Sprinkle with Sugar.
Bake at 400 for 10 minutes [for softer cookies bake less minutes]
