Ingredients:

1 & 1/2 cups of milk
dash salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 stick margarine
1/2 cup peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)

Directions:
Rub down a large platter with butter and set aside. Mix all dry ingredients together in large saucepan. When well mixed add milk and place on medium heat. Stir constantly beating out lumps until mixture boils. Reduce heat until mixture is on low boil. DO NOT stir again. Check mixture from time to time to see if it is done by dropping a small amount into the bottom of a cup of cold water. If the mixture forms a small ball in the bottom of the cup then it is ready. Set off heat and add butter, peanut butter and vanilla. Let cool about 15 minutes. Beat by hand until fudge begins to harden. Pour out onto platter and smooth. When cool, cut into squares.
