3/4 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. shortening
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. light brown sugar
1 Lg. egg
3 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 & 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 - 8 oz. bag of Hershey's chocolate kisses

Preheat oven to 350 . Beat peanut butter and shortening in a large bowl with mixer until well mixed. Add 1/3 c. sugar and brown sugar. Beat well. Add egg, milk, vanilla and beat until fluffy. Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to peanut butter mixture. Beat until well blended. Shape into 1/2 inch balls. Roll in sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 5-6 minutes or until set. Immediately, press Hershey Kiss into center of each cookie. Makes about 14 dozen.
