2 (16 oz) can French Style Beans
1 (8 oz) can Water Chestnuts
1 Large Onion, sliced
6 or 7 slices of bacon
1 (2.5 oz) Pkg Sliced Almonds
4 tsp Sugar
## 4T Vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Drain green beans and water chestnuts. Fry bacon until crisp. Remove and drain. Add sugar and rice vinegar to bacon grease. In a 2-quart casserole, layer beans, onions, almonds, and water chestnuts. Sprinkle crumbled bacon on top. Pour bacon grease- sugar mixture over entire casserole. Cover and refrigerate over night. Bake at 350 for 35- 40 minutes.
