sliced onion rings
carrots and potatoes if desired
lipton onion soup mix

Directions:
Directions:
This was mom's secret for slow cooked flavorful pork roast. She always added sliced onion rings to the crock pot with the pork (salt & peppered to taste), and small amount of water. Slow cook until very tender. Sometimes she would add Lipton onion soup mix and potatoes & carrots. The sliced onion rings were the key. She would even add them for a slow cooked beef roast too.
