1 c. sugar
3/4 c. real butter
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Cream sugar, butter, & salt. Beat in egg, lemon rind, & vanilla until fluffy. Gradually stir in dry ingredients. Make dough into 1/8" diameter roll. Cut cookies. Bake on lightly sprayed cookie sheet for 9 - 12 mins. until light brown.
