2 lb. chili meat 1 onion, diced 1 Tbsp. paprika 1 heaping Tbsp. oregano 1 Tbsp. ground red peppers 1 Tbsp. cumin 4 to 5 Tbsp. chili powder 2 Tbsp. minced garlic 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce 1 Tbsp. black pepper 1 (12 oz) dry kidney beans, if desired
Brown meat and drain. Add onions and stir. Add spices and then tomato sauce. Use small amount of water to rinse cans. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Add salt to taste. Thicken with 3 Tbsp. cornstarch, if desired.
