3 acorn squash - small, whole
1/4 c. water

Topping:
3 T. liquid honey
2 T. butter or margarine - softened
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Place squash in 5 quart (5L) slow cooker. Pour water over top. Cover. Cook on low for 8 hours.

Topping: Mix all 4 ingredients well. Cut each squash in half lengthwise. Scoop out seeds. Brush cavities and edges with honey mixture.

Serves 6
