1/2 c. butter 6 Tbsp. flour 4 c. milk 2 lb. broccoli, cooked and drained 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 lb. dried beef, chopped 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce 8 oz. pkg. egg noodles 1 c. bread crumbs
Melt 1/4 c. butter; stir in flour. Add milk gradually; cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces; add to sauce. Add salt, pepper, dried beef and worcestershire sauce. Cook noodles according to pkg. and place in greased 3 qt. casserole. Spoon sauce over noodles; toss lightly. Melt remaining butter in saucepan. Add bread crumbs; stir until mixed. Sprinkle over casserole. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 20 minutes.
