1 29oz can sauerkraut
1 bell pepper chopped
1 c.chopped celery
1c. diced onion
1 small jar pimentos
1-1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tsp celery seed

Directions:
Directions:
mix the first 5 ingredients. Set aside. Boil sugar, vinegar and celery seed. Pour over kraut mixture. Cool and refrigerate 24 hours before serving. Can be put in 3-4 pint jars. This will keep a long time in the refrigerator.

This is delicious with meats, vegetables or on hot dogs. It is similar to chow-chow.
