1 lb. ground beef1 can (1 lb.) pork and beans1 can (1 lb.) tomatoes1 t. saltOnionsBacon1/4 c. brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Brown 1 lb. ground beef lightly in a skillet without any added fat, stirring frequently. Add 1 can pork and beans, 1 can tomatoes, 1 t. salt. Pour half the mixture in a baking dish. Cover with slices of onion. Add remaining meat-bean mixture. Top with strips of bacon and sprinkle with 1/4 c. brown sugar. Bake in moderate oven (350) for 1 hour. Makes 8 servings.
