1 c, molasses
1 c. sugar
1 c. sour milk
2 eggs, beaten
5 c flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp ginger
1 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. melted shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients in order given, sifting flour with soda and spices. Mix thoroughly, let stand about 10 mins. Drop by tsp onto a buttered sheet. Bake in mod. hot oven 8-15 mins.
