2 gallons of water
1 1/2 c canning salt
3 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp ground black pepper
1/4 c Worcestershire sauce
1/3 c light brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a bucket large enough to hold the turkey and brine (I use a 5 gallon bucket) mix all the ingredients and stir well until completely combined. Submerge the turkey and let it soak for two days before cooking.

This really makes the bird moist with a hint of flavor. Come Thanksgiving time I just leave the bucket outside, away from sunlight, with a tight lid for two days because it is cold enough. Otherwise you have to find room in your fridge.
