1/2 cup soft butter or margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup flour
1/2 cup oatmeal
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter and sugar; beat in peanut butter, egg, and vanilla. Combine flour, oats, soda, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets or parchment paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute before moving to rack.
