1-1/4 pounds ripe tomatoes
1 lb okra
1 cup diced onion
1/4 cup butter
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cut stem from tomatoes. Peel tomatoes by immersing into boiling water. Set aside Trim stem from okra and cut into bite sized pieces.

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine tomatoes, okra, onion, butter, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered 30 to 40 minutes or until some of the liquid has evaporated leaving a thickened sauce.
