1/2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. butter
2 c. flour

9 eggs
2 1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. lemon rind
1 1/4 c. lemon juice
9 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
8 tsp. powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Pre heat oven to 350. To prepare crust beat 1/2 c. sugar and butter at medium speed until creamy. Gradually add flour to sugar mixture, beating on low until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 in pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.

To prepare topping; beat eggs at medium speed until foamy. Add sugar and the next 5 ingredients beat until well blended. Pour mixture over crust. Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes, until mixture has begun to set and is just barely brown around edges. Cool on wire rack, sift powdered sugar evenly over top.
