4-cups sliced, peeled apples
1-tbsp water
1-tbs lemon juice
1/2 to 1-tsp cinnamon
1/2-cup butter, cut into small pieces
1-cup dark brown sugar
3/4-cup all purpose flour
1/8 tsp-salt

Directions:
Directions:
preheat oven to 375 degrees. Put apples in greased pan, sprinkle with water, lemon juice and cinnamon.

In small bowl, combine the butter, sugar, flour and salt. Mush together with your hands until it forms a clump. Distribute the clump evenly over the apples.

Bake for one hour. the topping should be very dark and bubbly. Add whip cream or ice cream on top if you like.
