1 cup flour 1/2 cup sugar 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 cup milk 1 egg, beaten 4 Tablespoons melted shortening 1 cup chopped pecans Cinnamon sugar
Combine first five ingredients. Add milk and well beaten egg; add shortening. Spread in a shallow pan, about 11 x 7 1/2 inches or 9 x 9 inches. Cover thickly with chopped nuts and cinnamon sugar. Bake at 375º for 25 minutes.
