1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. strawberry preserves
2 c.* flour, all purpose
2 t. B.P.
1/4 t. salt
1 t. cinnamon
1 t. ginger
1/2 t. cloves
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. pecans
2/3 c. raisins

2 T. preserves
1/3 c. butter
2 T. cream
powdered sugar
1 T. lemon juice
cake coloring

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time. Add strawberry pres., milk
Sift together *flour, B.P., salt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves. Mix with creamed.

*Leave a little flour and add to pecans and raisins, then add batter.
