3/4 c. unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 cup sugar
1/3 c. milk, at room temperature
2 large eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 11 oz. pkg. butterscotch chips
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350
Cream together the butter and sugar with the milk.
Beat in the eggs.
Sift the flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon together; add to the wet ingredients and mix well.
Mix in the oats, butterscotch chips and raisins.
Drop heaping tablespoons of the batter onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake for 12 - 14 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.

This recipe was printed in More magazine (May 2009) and called Sally Koslow's college cookies. It was something "Sally" made for her kids away at college. A rich and chewy confection packed and shipped in coffee cans. Richard and I don't ship them, we just eat them.
