3 c. washed, cooked sweet potatoes
¾ c. sugar
½ c. butter
2 eggs (well beaten)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. milk
1 pinch salt
 
Topping
½ c. brown sugar
¼ c. flour
½ c. finely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Combine potatoes, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla and milk.  Mix well.  Spoon into 8 x 8 casserole dish, cover with topping, dot with butter or margarine (very important—without the butter the topping is dry).  Bake at 350 degrees covered for the first 20 minutes, then uncover for the last 10 minutes.
