2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
5 tbsp. shortening
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 c. melted butter
1 c. sugar blended with 1 tbsp of cinnamon

Spray muffin pan (approximately. 12 muffins). Cream together the butter, shortening, and the sugar. Beat in the eggs, salt, nutmeg, and baking powder. Stir in the flour and milk alternately until mixture is just combined. Fill muffin cups to the top. Bake at 350 for about 20 min. Allow to cool for a few minutes. With each muffin, dip in the melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon sugar blend.
