2/3 c. sugar
2 large eggs
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 2/3 c. milk
1 c. heavy cream
2 tsp. vanilla extract

X 2 to make 1/2 gallon of ice cream
X 4 to make 1 gallon of ice cream

Directions:
Directions:
In mixing bowl, beat sugar into eggs until thick & pale yellow. Beat in flour & salt. Set aside. Bring milk to simmer in medium saucepan. Slowly beat hot milk into eggs & sugar. Pour entire mixture back into pan over low heat. Stir constantly with whisk or wooden spoon until it thickens slightly. Don't let boil. Remove from heat & pour through strainer into a large clean bowl. Allow to cool slightly, then stir in vanilla & cream. Freeze.
