2 c Flour 1 2/3 c Sugar 2 lg Eggs 2/3 c Milk 2 ½ tsp Baking Powder ½ tsp Salt ¼ c Shortening ¼ c Milk
Sift dry ingredients. Add shortening and 2/3 c milk. Beat. Add eggs, vanilla, and ¼ c milk. Bake at 350° for 25-30 min. Top with sliced or crushed strawberries or other seasonal fruit. Serve with whipped cream topping for a luscious treat!
