1 1/2 tspns baking powder
1 tspn salt
1/2 tspn dry mustard
2 tblspns shortening
1 beaten egg
3/4 cup milk
8-10 hot dogs
8-10 sticks

mix f, c, s, bp, slt & dm
mix in short
add egg - milk
poke dogs w/sticks
1" of oil @ 375 F
dip dogs
turn after 10 secs
3 mins
