This recipe for Hard Cooked Eggs, by Ruby Pinter, is from The Pinter Family Cookbook ,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
Eggs (week old eggs will peel easier than fresh) Water
Cover eggs with cold water in a saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil. When water is boiling, turn the burner off and leave the pan sit on the burner for 10 to 12 minutes. When timer goes off, drain hot water and cover the eggs with cold water. Refrigerate when cooled.
This method may be used for Easter eggs and they will turn out perfect with no green yolks.
