"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

1 lb. ground pork sausage 8 white sandwich bread slices 2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese 6 large eggs 2 c. milk 1 tsp. salt
Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat, stirring until it crumbles and is no longer pink. Drain sausage. Break bread into cubes and place in a lightly greased 13x9 inch baking dish. Sprinkle bread evenly with cheese and top with sausage. Whisk together eggs, milk and salt and pour evenly over sausage mixture. Cover and chill casserole for at least 8 hours (or overnight). Bake at 350º for 40 minutes.
