1 cup butter
1/2 cup crisco
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
3 cups plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup cocoa
1 1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, crisco, sugar, vanilla together until well blended. Add eggs one at a time and beat until fluffy.
Sift all dry ingredients together and add alternately with the milk until well blended.

Bake 300 1 1/2 hours until done.

Can add chocolate glaze or just sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
