1 lb dry ziti pasta
1 lb ground beef (or Italian sausage)
1 onion, chopped
2 jars (26 oz. each) spaghetti sauce
6 oz provolone cheese, sliced
6 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
1 1/2 c sour cream
2 tbsp Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Cook pasta until al dente (about 8 minutes); drain. In skillet, brown onion and beef. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer 15 minutes. Preheat oven to 350. Butter 9X13 backing dish and layer as follows: 1/2 ziti, provolone cheese, sour cream, 1/2 sauce mix, rest of zit, mozzarella, and rest of sauce mix. Top with Parmesan cheese. Bake for 30 minutes. Note - I usually make mine in 2 8X8 dishes and freeze one of them. It makes for less prep work later.
