2 egg whites (beaten)
dash of salt
2 tsp. white syrup
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine egg whites, salt, syrup, sugar and water in top of double boiler. Beat for one minute to blend; place over boiling water. Beat with electric mixer for 7 minutes or until stiff peaks form. Stir frosting up from bottom and sides occasionally. Take off heat; fold in vanilla. Makes enough for a two-layer cake.
