2 Tbsp yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 tsp sugar
2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp melted lard
2 tsp salt
2 cups warm water
7 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add first amount of sugar. Combine second amount of sugar, lard, and salt. Add 2 cups warm water. Add yeast mixture. Stir in 7 cups of flour. Knead about 10 minutes. Place in pan and let rise 10 minutes. Knead down. Let rise until double in bulk. Punch down and let rise thirty minutes. Roll into rectangle and roll into loaf. Let rise. Cut slashes into top layer. Brush whipped egg over loaf and add sesame seeds. Bake at 400 until brown.
