Sift flour, salt and baking powder into mixing bowl. Make a well and add other ingredients. Mix well. Add a bit more flour if the dough is too soft to handle. Roll out on floured board fairly thin. Cut in strips. Cut one slit in centre and pull half of roll kuchen through this slit. Fry in hot, deep fat. Serve with watermelon and Roger's Golden Syrup for dipping.
