Mix together and chill dough. Roll dough to 1/8" (very thin) on floured surface. Cut into 1 1/2" rounds (or star shapes). Transfer rounds to sugar covered wax paper. Coat each round with sugar and place on baking sheet. Poke each round with fork several times. Bake at 375 for eight minutes (do not brown!). Cool cookies. Place creamy filling on one round and place another on top. Makes about 5 dozen. This is a Christmas tradition.
