1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c dry bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 c evaporated milk
2-4 T chopped onion
1 t salt
dash pepper
3 T brown sugar
1/4 c catsup
1/2 t nutmeg
1 t prepared mustard

Combine beef, bread crumbs, egg, milk, onion, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly and place in loaf tin.
Combine remaining ingredients and spread over meat loaf. Bake at 350 for 1 hr.
