3/4 c butter
1/2 c white sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1 t baking soda
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 t salt
1 3/4 c rolled oats
1 egg
Filling:
1 c chopped dates
1/2 c milk
1/2 c sugar
1 T butter

Directions:
Directions:
Spread 1/2 of dough on cookie sheet. Mash smooth. Spread with date mixture. Sprinkle rest of dough mixture on top and smooth with hands.
Bake in 350 oven for 1/2 hour.
