2 c. sugar,
11/2 cup shortening,
2 eggs,
2 c. mashed ripe bananas ( about 5 - 6 bananas),
3 c. flour,
3 c. oatmeal,
11/2 tsp soda,
2 tsp salt,
1/2 tsp nutmeg,
1 tsp cinnamon,
1 c chopped nuts,
11/2 c. chocolate chips.

Directions:
Directions:
Blend first four ingredients. Sift seasoning with flour and add to blended ingredients, mix. Add oatmeal and mix. Then add the chopped nuts and chocolate chips. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350 for 10 minutes.
