3 cups sugar 1 cup white corn syrup 1/2 cup water a few drops of red food coloring 3 cups peanuts (raw or roasted-I roast mine) 1 stick margarine
Combine all ingredients except margarine and bring to a boil. Boil 7 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and add stick of margarine. Beat until mixture begins to thicken. Drop by large spoonfuls on foil.
