Open can of beans. Pour into nice bowl. Serve. For fancier affairs, beans may be heated in the microwave prior to serving. For even fancier affairs, heating them on the stove may be preferred. It is also acceptable to just put a spoon in the can and serve them that way. No arguing over who gets that little white hunk of fat!!
