1 c. (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened 1 c. sugar 1 t. vanilla 1 1/2 c. finely chopped pecans 2 c. flour 1/4 t. salt 1 c. powdered sugar
Blend butter, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add pecans. Blend in flour and salt until mixed well. Mixture will appear as crumbs. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Shape a teaspoonful of mixture into a ball and place each apart on cookie sheet. Preheat oven to 350 and bake cookies for 10-12 min. until set. Cool on baking rack. Shake cookies in a bag with the powdered sugar.
