1 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. butter or margarine 4 eggs 2 c. flour 1 T. lemon juice or 1 t. vanilla 1 can cherry pie filling
Cream butter and add sugar. Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each addition. Add flour and lemon juice. Place batter in a 15x10 inch cookie pan. Using a knife, mark 4 squares across and 5 squares down. Place 1 T. cherry pie filling in each square. Bake at 350º for 35 or 40 min. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.
