6 oz streaky bacon 2 large onions – chopped 1 kg beef – cubed Bouquet garnish Red wine 1½ tablespoons flour 2 cloves of garlic – crushed Salt & pepper 8 oz button mushrooms Baby onions
Marinade beef in some of the red wine for 1 hour Toss beef in seasoned flour Fry bacon Add onion & garlic Flambé with half a wine glass of brandy if desired Add all other ingredients including remaining red wine Cook until tender
