2c. sifted flour
2T.sugar
3t b. powder
1/2 t.salt
1/2 c. butter
1 egg beaten
2/3 light cream[whipped]
1 c.heavy cream [whipped] use between layers
3 or 4 c. strawberries slice & sugared

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients. Cut in butter.Combine egg & cream. Add to dry ingredients.Stir only until moist.Spread dough in greased 8x11/2 round pan. Bake 450 15 to 18 min. Cool 3 min. Split into 2 layers. Spread bottom layer with butter. Spoon strawberries and whipped cream between layers and over top.
