Peach Bread Recipe

1 cups sugar
cup margarine
2 eggs
5-6 medium peaches chopped finely
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup unbleached flour
1 cups oats
1 tsp cinnamon
dash nutmeg
1 tsp baking soda
dash salt
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Beat sugar and margarine until creamy
Add eggs and beat thoroughly
add peaches and vanilla
Stir together adding flour, oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, soda, powder and salt
Add to peach mixture and stir thoroughly
Spoon into 2 greased and floured pans 8x4
Bake at 325 for 55-60 minutes
Cool 10 minutes before slicing
