1 cup shortening
1 cup surgar
1 egg
1 tsp soda
2 cups flour
1/2 cup chopped raisins
1/2 cup nutmeats
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch of salt
1 cup persimmon pulp

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar together add the egg and mix well. Add the remaining ingredients in the order given, stir until well blended. Drop by tablespoons onto non stick baking sheet
Bake at 350 for 10to 12 minutes
