2 sticks butter, softened
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 3/4 c.self-rising
3/4 plain flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs.
In a separate bowl, combine the flours together.
Add the flours to the butter mixture alternating with the buttermilk.
Add vanilla.
Pour into 3 greased,floured, and wax paper lined pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 16-19 minutes or until top of cakes are barely brown.
