1 pre-baked 9" pie crust
2 c. whipping cream, OR half & half, OR a mixture of the two
3/4 to 1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
1 stick butter
1 t. vanilla
dash nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly combine the sugar and cornstarch. Slowly add the cream to make a smooth filling. Cook and stir over medium heat till thickened and smooth. Remove from heat and add butter, vanilla and nutmeg. Pour into baked crust. Sprinkle more nutmeg on top and bake at 350 to 375 for 15 to 20 minutes.
