1 pkg yellow cake mix
1 stick softened butter
1 c flaked coconut
4 large granny smith apples, peeled cored, sliced
or 1 large can of apple slices, (not apple pie filling)
1 c sugar (granny smith apples) or 1/2 c sugar if using canned apple slices.
2 tsp cinnamon
1 c of sour cream
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl combine cake mix, coconut and butter until crumbly. Pat mixture lightly into pan, build up the edges to form a crust.( do not pack down, it will make the crust tough) Bake for 10 minutes at 350
Arrange the apple slices on top. Mix together sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over apples. In a small bowl lightly whisk together the egg and sour cream.
Drizzle over the cake.(not meant to be used as a frosting) Will not cover the whole cake.

Bake for 35 minutes, or until crust is golden and apples are tender.
Refrigerate after serving, because of sour cream.
