4 cups cauliflowerets
1 cup sliced carrots
2 cups water
1 lb fully cooked smoke sausage
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup flour
3/4 tsp salt
2 cups milk
8oz processed American cheese, cubed (Velvetta)

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, cook cauliflower and carrots in water until tender. Set aside. In a skillet, brown sausage and onion. Drain. Add flour and salt. Gradually add the milk and bring to a boil. Cook for 2 minutes. Add cauliflower and carrots and cooking liquid. Heat through. Stir in the cheese until melted. Sprinkle with pepper.
