3 c sugar
3/4 c butter
2/3 c (5 oz can) evaporated milk *
1 12 oz pkg semi sweet chocolate chips
1 7 oz jar of marshmallow creme
1 c chopped nuts
1 tsp vanilla

* do not substitute sweetened condensed milk for evaporated milk.

Directions:

Combine sugar, butter and milk in heavy 2 qt sauce pan. Bring to a full boil, boil for 5 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat add chocolate chips, stir until melted, add marshmallow creme, nuts and vanilla. Pour into buttered 9 X 13 pan. Cool at room temp.. Cut into squares.
